Plastic Candidate

After watching the Republican debates over the weekend, it was more apparent that Mitt Romney is a weaker candidate than previously thought. Initially, he seemed a much better candidate, more formidable than in 2008. However, his performance at the debates seems to reflect his campaign as being nothing more than a subterfuge.

Mitt Romney seems to be the epitome of the 'handled politician'. It seems as though when confronted with direct questions considered uncomfortable, he resorts to platitudes or diversionary tactics such as challenging the moderator. C'mon, just answer the question! (Note: Ron Paul addressed and answered questions succintly) Furthermore employing such tactics seem as though Romney was trying to be more like Newt Gingrich.

Mr. Romney, you're an educated man, remember 'to thine own self be true'. Maybe that's the problem. Senator John McClain's recent endorsement of Romney does make salient the questions: Who are you? What do you believe? What are your principles? What do you stand for?

It's interesting that even while purporting to be endorsing Romney, Sen. McClain expressed confidence in President Obama's  leadership. Was it more than a freudian slip?

Indeed, it's becoming evident Mitt Romney has no substance.

Mitt Romney is plastic

Mitt Romney is a walking Ken doll.
